01Agreeing to these terms

By using Dialed Works you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Dialed runs several websites and each has its own terms, which apply to that site. Where you use more than one, the terms of the site you are on apply there. How we handle personal information is in the Privacy Policy.

02Who we are

Dialed is an independent project run by Dialed LLC. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Focus V or Puffco. Product names are trademarks of their respective owners, and we name them only to say what our software and services work with.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "Dialed" mean Dialed LLC, which runs Dialed, Dialed Control and Dialed Works.

03Who can use it

Dialed is about vaporizer devices. You must be at least 21 years old, or older if that is the legal age where you live, to use anything we offer.

You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you, including those about the products these devices are used with. Do not use Dialed where doing so is illegal.

04How a job works

This is the Dialed Works website, which lists the bench services (repair, cleaning, customization and restoration) we offer. Nothing is bought on this website: work is requested in our Discord.

To request work, run /service request in the Dialed Discord. That opens a private ticket that only our staff can see. Tell us what you have and what you need.

The menu on this website is a guide. The price, timing and what is included for your job are agreed with you in the ticket before work starts, and a job only begins once you have agreed. Turnaround times are estimates, not promises. Items marked as unavailable cannot be requested right now.

How your device reaches us and gets back to you, how you pay, and any extra terms for your job are agreed in the ticket. If something agreed in your ticket differs from these terms, what you agreed in the ticket applies to that job.

05Your device and the work

We do the work with reasonable care and skill.

Opening or modifying a device can affect the manufacturer's warranty. Third-party repair and customization are done at your own risk.

Glass and small parts are fragile and some work carries a risk of further damage. Where we see a risk before starting, we will tell you. Existing damage, wear and faults are not caused by us, and we will say if we find something that changes the plan.

Carriers and the law restrict shipping vaping devices and batteries. We accept a device by post only if your ticket agrees how, and you are responsible for sending only what the carrier and the law allow. Send devices empty of product, and do not send us cannabis, nicotine liquids or anything else that is illegal or unsafe to ship or to hold. We may refuse or return anything we think is unsafe or unlawful.

Glass made by independent glassblowers (for example blurd_glass) is their work and is linked for credit. Dealings with them are between you and them.

06Acceptable use

Do not use Dialed Works to break the law, to harm anyone or anyone's device, or to harass people.

• Do not try to break, overload, scan or probe our systems, or to get around limits, access controls or rate limits.
• Do not scrape or copy it in bulk, or use it to build a competing service from our work.
• Do not use our Discord tickets to abuse or threaten our staff or other members.

07Links and other services

We link to services we do not run, such as Discord, Terpline and the social pages of glass makers. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for them.

08Our content

The Dialed name and logo, our designs, text, software and firmware belong to us or are used with permission. You may view and use Dialed Works for your own purposes. Do not use the Dialed name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse or are connected to you.

09No warranty

Dialed Works is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises of any kind: not that it will always work, be free of faults or suit your purpose. Some places do not allow some of these exclusions, and then the law of the place decides.

10Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or damage to a device beyond what we agreed to put right in your ticket, and our total liability for anything connected with Dialed Works is limited to the amount you paid us for the thing the claim is about in the 12 months before it. If it was free, that amount is nothing.

Nothing in these terms limits anything that cannot be limited by law, including your legal rights as a consumer where you live.

11Changes, suspension and ending

We can change, pause or stop Dialed Works, or any part of it, at any time.

You can stop using it whenever you like.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and if a change matters we will make it clear. Using Dialed Works after a change means you accept the new terms.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the US state in which Dialed LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer, this does not take away protections that the law of the place where you live gives you and that cannot be waived.

Dialed LLC runs Dialed Works. For legal and privacy matters, email legal@dialed.diy. For anything else, email contact@dialed.diy. You can also open a ticket in the Dialed Discord (Beta & access, Bug report or General all work). We reply by the same route.
